VoidPulse increments the wave counter each time a ring fully expands without hitting the player. Each wave increases ring expansion speed. Rings disappear when they exceed maxRadius (200 + wave×10 pixels from centre). Score is awarded per ring survived. Players lose a life if the ring's solid edge passes over their avatar during non-invincible frames. The gap width is fixed regardless of wave.
